BREAKING! Donald Trump Wins 2016 Presidential Election

The citizens of United States of America made their way to the election booths on November 8, 2016 to have their voices heard in deciding who would become the next president of their country.

After eight years of Democratic Barack Obama serving the country as president, it has been made official that Republican Donald J. Trump is the winner of the 2016 Presidential Election! It was predicted by experts before votes were tallied that Clinton would not only win the election but would win the electoral election by a landslide.

States like Florida, Wisconsin, and Michigan were all crucial states late in the night as the polls closed as they were states that were expected to favor Hillary. Instead, Trump redrew the map much like he said he would long ago with fed-up voters who are done with Washington, D.C..

The vote was neck and neck for a majority of the election, but crucial states with >15 electoral votes such as Pennsylvania and Michigan were not decided until late in the night.

It was revealed by AP at 1:38 AM ET that Trump took Pennsylvania, winning the election:

Republican Donald Trump took Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arizona, Louisiana, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, Utah, Wisconsin, Alaska, and Pennsylvania. Electoral vote total: 278/270

Democratic Hillary Clinton took Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, District of Columbia, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, Rhode Island, Maine and Nevada. Electoral vote total: 219/270

The only states who have yet to be called were: Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, and New Hampshire.
