Massive water is being released from KRS and Kabini dam to Mettur, in all probabilities Mettur Dam might overflow in the next 10 days (max) with rains expected to continue

Close to 93,000 cusecs is being released by Karnataka from the two Dams to Tamil Nadu's Mettur.

1. KRS Dam - Inflow - 43,654 Cusecs  and Outflow - 57,810 Cusecs

2. Kabini Dam - Inflow - 45,000 Cusecs and Outflow - 41,000 Cusecs

3. Hemavathi Dam - Inflow - 28,262 Cusecs and  Outflow - 16,690 Cusecs

4. Harangi Dam - Inflow - 13,324 Cusecs  and Outflow - 14,335 Cusecs

5. Mettur Dam - Inflow - 45,316 Cusecs  and Outflow - 1000 Cusecs

6. Bhavani Sagar - Inflow - 10,619 Cusecs and Outflow - 1000 Cusecs

1. Parambikulam - Inflow - 6826 Cusecs and storage is 12.33 tmc against 17.82 tmc capacity

4. Periyar - Inflow - 3650  Cusecs and storage is 4.16 tmc against 7.67 tmc capacity
